In July 2024, I travelled to Armenia to document a workshop and surveying trip organised by the Architectural Association Visiting School. This two-week programme allowed students to explore and survey Oshakan, a small village located 26 km northwest of Yerevan. Led by architects Aram Mooradian and Shant Charoian, the course involved students working closely with the local community to document various forms of heritage. This initiative marked the beginning of a preservation and archiving process aimed at supporting the future construction of public facilities and structures.
